This quote I choose means that when ever my friend(s) fell I would pick them back up again. Meaning I would help them with what ever emotional breakdowns, or sadness in their life. No matter what they’ve going through I would try to cheer them up.

In seventh grade I’ve seen many of my friends who have had trouble situations that made them gloomy. For example one of my friends, Alicia and Heather were mad with each other with a guy. All behind it was lies and secrets. They both came to me because they know they can trust me and I will put a smile on there face. Heather was jealous with Alicia for going out with this boy she still had feelings for. She also told me Alicia makes all this stuff up, talks about her behind her back, and all this other crap. I could tell Heather was sort of depressed, and so I change the subject. I knew she become at least content, which she did. Alicia side of the story was that she didn’t say anything about her, she made that up, and Heather is mad for know reason. I have helped them when their down and I always will.

young men and ladies

Most people think men/boys HAVE to be moncho and tought and girls have to be passive and nice. I don't think just becaus eof your gender you Have to act a certain way. Men don't have to be tought, some are sensitive. It's ok because everyone has feelings, boys and girls. Ladies/girls don't have to act all passive and nice and worry about their hair or what to ware. You can act whatever you want but shouldn't let that interfer with your behavior. For example just because a girl is tought she should still be respectful and use her manmors. It's just common sense to be polite no matter what. People might think different about your way it act but it makes up the world with unique personality. Act the way you want but respactfully!!!

I thought everything went well in class. Writting some interesting poem topics was difficult. Then trying to make my poem interesting and following instructions was challenging. (see instructions on other peom). The peom we read and disscused with are group was hard to understand. In certain parts of the story I got. I like how every day for the O.A. we can have our own topics or have to talk about some given to us. It's your chioce and I like make writting chioces when I have a topic write.

Class

In class today we did our O.A., which was to write about what you think men and women are to do for their jobs, how are we supposed to act tokward each other etc.. Then dicuss it with your group and mark on your t-chart what you agree and disagree on.Then we read a poem and talked about what it meant. After that Mr. Vega read us a story in the book I am Legend while us students had to write six questions. You also had to answer those questions. After that Mr.Vega said to start typing a blog on what we did in class today. So that what I did!

Writing a poem outside

In the last thirty minutes we had to write a poem outside about a topic of your chioce. We also had to follow certain instructions. The instructions were:

1. cut all fat
2. experiment with line lenghts
3. use the five senses (show don't tell)
4. end strong or with suprise
5. act like you care

Going outside and trying to write a peom was not all that easy. I had a topic to write about but I didn't really know how to write what happened. Once I got started it got a whole lot better. Over all it went okay.

About Me

I am twelve years old. My birthday is October 27. I live in Upland, CA. My favorite color is blue, and purple. I am a shy person. My favorite holiday other than Christmas is probably April Fools or Valentines Day. My favorite food is probably pizza or orange chicken. My favorite season is of course summer. I love swimming and thats my favorite thing to do over the summer. I love hanging out with my wild, crazy nephew Jeremiah and his sister Jaden who is clam. Except what ever brother does she does. They have a younger brother who just turned one year old about a week ago. I love listening to music, all kinds except country. I like koolade, lemonade, and other cool drinks in the summer. Over the summer my family goes to family reuinons and this one is going to be in Alabama instead of Mississippi. I know we will have a great time.

Today in class

As usual we started of with the O.A.. You had a choice either talk about your biggest challenge or talk about your self. I put: what my name is, i am twelve years old, and that my birthday is October 27. Also things like my favorite holiday other that Christmas is, which Im not really sure. Over the summer I love to go swimming and that's my favorite thing I look for over the summer. Anyways I just wrote till I got to half a page like Mr.Vega tells us to.

Then we finished up reading your short story from yesterday or start a new story. After about 20 minutes Mr.Vega got us into groups by what story you read/finished. Next we had to write on a big sheet of paper and write 2 questiona and five main things you read about the story. Once your done with that you finish up your blogs

The last day of school!!!

The last day of school wasn't all that great.it was actually sort of heart breaking because you made so many friends and you've had a strong connection with them.
It started out as homeroom, getting peoplessignatures and haveing one last chat with them. Then the bell rings so you go to your first class, which I had art. I pretty much had gotten everyones signature the other two days.Everyone just bassically talked and chated with their friends. Next thing you know off to second period(P.E.) My friends and I got sat on the ground listened to our music from our cell phones and ipods. The day really went by quickly. Third period I had history with Mrs.Balcom,a teacher I do not like at all because she will look at you and just go on andon talking or answer someone else. Time flew by and fourth period English came with Mrs. Shool. The room was filled with talking and thats the only thing the whole class did. In Mrs.Ross's science class there was a subsitute and same as every class, just talked. Mrs.Davis for math comes after. She had different games that you really need to use your brain. It was ok, but hard. That was the last class and school was out. I didn't get to even tell my best friend since pre-school goodbye! Actually I barely saw any of my friends to tell bye to.

Most kids were gone but few were still left. I saw this one girl who started to cry and 7 of her friends gave a hug around her. It made me feel sad and I missed my friends already. I waited till all my friends were gone then went to the after school program just wanting my mom to pick me and take me home. I told a couple of my friends that we've waited for this day and now thats it's here it's emotion. And thats the truth! From that day on I missed all my friends. I wish that wasn't the last day of school but you have to face it any way.

Thoughts of todays class

Today in class we first started off with OA(opening assesment) which was write a time when you misjudged someone or some situation. Then we read a poem called, "Fat Man" and talked about it and wrote what the main piont was at the bottom of the page. I think that was perfect because it's a lesson learned and some people still haven't learned it. Actually I think reading this poem and discussing was something that should also be done in first grade so you know how it might affect and you shouldn't do it.

The next thing we did was pick out a short story, read, and write the problem and solution. I think the story I read was difficult and sort of boring. Sometimes when books are boring I can really remember what I read. But I will just reread it all tommorow.

Guess what fast food place #1!!!

I see before I walk in a drive through next to the fast food place. I see some trash on the tables such as cups, napkins, and left over food. I see people sitting eating their chomane. I smell the delicious, fresh orange chicken which is my favoreite food from that resteraunt and other food like the beef and brocolli. I view all the people waiting in line. I guess that those advertisements brought crowds with those animals going to the place and showing some of the chioces you can get. The only location of the resteraunt I know is in Fontana and maybe one in Ontario Mills.

First day of Summer School

What can I do to be sucessful?

• be on my best behavior

- following instructions

- being respectful

• try my hardest


• make sure to be on time and not absent

- goint directly to class

- coming even though im sick(and just get everyone else sick)
